I think you have downloaded one of the no longer supported Nuke-Coppermine versions.
Please uninstall this version completely, download here Coppermine 1.33 and install outside MD-Pro.
Now verify it is working correctly, if not adjust.
Next download pnCPG version 2.6, also available here (or on www.nuy.info) and install as a module under MD-Pro.
Follow the instructions and it should work.

I have just installed on my server a standalone version of Coppermine and it work good !!! The server is not a problem

Do you tink that I have to download a newest version of Coppermine as module for MdPro?

Thank you very mutch for the info

you would need pnCPG for integration within MD-pro.

Hallo everyone, i'm posting a reply here even if none post here for 120days. I'm Italian, and I hope to be intellegible (my english is.. you'll see).
I 've read this topic, and the documentation in pnCPG/pnDocs.
I use MDpro 1.0.76. I 've installed coppermine standalone (cpg1.4.10.zip) in my root directory (http://localhost/mysite/Coppermine). Well, it's work, but i need it into my cms, and that to put my md user in it.
So i put pnCPG (pnCPG33.zip) into my modules directory. I've processed and activated it.
I configurated it by control panel, i think good (would do you like a screen?).
I created a link into my Menù/block :{pnCPG}
when i click on the link, it appears only "error" where it should be the module.
I really don't know what to do..

If you have any idea about this problem, please, please help me!

Tanks you all for your time.

Need more informations?

Looks like you did not copy index_pn.php (located in pbCPG\coppermine) into the root of your Coppermine directory.
Please copied it in there and try again.

Thanks for your reply,
but i've only forgotten to write it in my post [i've just opened my Coppermine directory to see it (the Coppermine dir is in MD's root -> http://localhost/md1076ita/Coppermine/ .. correct, isn't it?)].
In readme.txt i found that modify to do:
If you have installed Coppermine itself in the modules directory of PostNuke, you will need to remove a check within index.php of Coppermine.
Please remove the following code :
// Check if standalone is installed in a portal like phpNuke (added by DJMaze)
$DIR=preg_split("/[\/\\\]/",dirname($_SERVER["SCRIPT_NAME"] ? $_SERVER["SCRIPT_NAME"] : $HTTP_SERVER_VARS["SCRIPT_NAME"]));
if ($DIR[count($DIR)-2] == "modules") {
    echo "<html><body><h1>ERROR</h1>You installed the standalone Coppermine into your Nuke portal.<br>".
         "Please download and install a CPG Port: <a href=\"http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=89658\">CPG for PostNuke OR CPG for PHPnuke</a></body></html>";
    die();
} // end check

But in Coppermine/index.php that doesn't appear! (but, i repeat, i didn't install Coppermine -cpg1.4.10.zip- into modules directory so that modify it seems not useful to me).

Do you have a link available so we can see what the error exactly is or can you attach a screendump containing the error ?

This is the screen. As you can se it doesn't give me anything to understand what is.
If you think is need, i can install coppermine and pnCPG on my online website (now is only installed in my local host).
I really don't know what to do.

Thank you for your interest, really.

PS: I read somewhere that pnCPG needs PnReader, could be that? (please forgive the question)
thank you again.

pnCPG does not need pnReader, just Coppermine & Postnuke.
Think you forgot to add the screendump.

Suggest you also upgrade to the latest pnCPG version (3.5).
Can you also share the settings for pnCPG with us, perhaps there is an error in there.

that is the screen. I don't use in my localhost any password, my db for that site is mdpro2 and tables start with 'cpg141_' and 'md_'.
BUT in the while, before posting, I've just download and installed pnCPG 3.5.
it works but: as you can see it shows me "error" on the top of coppermine module, and (the most important think) it doesn't keep automaticly the users form MD database (db name is correct, tables name and prefix are correct).
(ahem.. should i make the "bridging" in Coppermine admine panel? i didn't make it because i wasn't sure i had to do.)

pnCPG33Config.jpg -> the configuation of pnCPG33 that didn't worked (I'm not interested in still, but maybe someone yes)

pnCPG35Config.jpg -> config panel of working pnCPG35 (the version i have now that doesn't keep md users automaticly)

pnCPG35ErrorOnTop.jpg -> the screen of my working cpg with the strange "error" on top.

(i write these information to explain in the best way)

Ps: if you need I coul translate control Panel and instructions in Readme.txt in Italian lenguage (it's the only thing i'm sure i can do for thankin for your support)

Does MDPRO support Dynamic User Data ? If so, you need to setup the correct field for Coppermine to use.
If not, Coppermine needs to be configured not to use encrypted passwords. All of this is described in the readme.
The enxt version of pnCPG will also contain an option to sync the Postnuke user password, perhaps that will wotk in MD-pro too.
In the config leave the last 4 fields empty.

I'm sorry, i read  readme-file but i didn't understand that "ecrypted password" was my problem.
It works, really good. The only (little) problem is the word "error" on the top of the module.
Thank you for support.

I've got a really little problem: i would like to create a link in my menù to user's personal albums (the main page of these).
i know that: {pnCPG} <- is for home page of Coppermine
{pnCPG:main&task=users} <-is for user own personal gallery. Clicking there you see your own album, not all!

Users' personal albums are category n°1, so i thought i could link it as for the others categories but it doesn't work: when i click on it it redirect me to the main page of coppermine.
that is the link to category n°1 ("Album Personali"="Users' Personal Album): [urll]http://www.stephenking.it/index.php?module=pnCPG&func=main&category=1
that is the link to an other -public- category: [ur]http://www.stephenking.it/index.php?module=pnCPG&func=main&category=3
I hope i've explained well my problem.
If someone knows which link should i put there...
Anyway, Thank you.

So why do you not use as suggested :
Quote
{pnCPG:main&task=users}
This will do exactly what you ask.

Sorry, this is not what i meant (i'm sorry, i didn't explained well!)
if i use{pnCPG:main&task=users}
that link redirect me to my own gallery. (home>Users'Album>Boz)
I would like to create a link that redirect users to a page that shows all users'albums.
For example: 10users create a personal album, so we have 10 users' albums. I want a link that bring everyone to a page in that are shown those 10 albums.(home>users'album)
I hope i've explained better what i'm lokking for. If not, i will ask to somebody for a traslation to english.
Anyway, thank you.

please use attached index_pn.php version.
This should fix it with the command:
{pnCPG:main&category=1}
