Self explanatory...
Be nice to see x% or 256k of 512 or SOMETHING :-X
not possible, the http uploads are something that is driven by the browser and webserver, not by coppermine. All that coppermine does is providing an interface. It would require a bit of client-sided code (i.e. a Java applet) to accomplish what you're requesting. Turned down because of these reasons:
- There's no Java coder in the current dev team
- starting the Java engine would slow down the process considerably
- Not everybody has got a Java engine
- Most coppermine admins allow small to regular pics only, no point to have a progress bar for that
As suggested in the other thread you started: use ftp-upload plus batch-add
I'm building a flash .exe file to handle files ...
Going to upload via FTP, then use amfphp & coopermine to move the pic from the
right place, consume and insert data, etc..
better, only if picasa and flickr get together... heheh : P
if you know something that can be wrong with this, please let me know...
