Title: I deleted config.php
Post by: PeteM on June 15, 2005, 06:28:40 AM
I deleted my config.php after installing Coppermine and configuring everything :o. I even added over 300 photos, so I was hoping I can somehow recover or make another one without losing what has been added to the album. :-[ :-X :-\\

You haven't lost anything in the db.

simply copy  include/config.inc.php.sample to include/config.inc.php and use a text editor to fill in the correct values.

If you deleted config.php in the coppermine root, download the archive again, and copy a new config.php up.

Thanks for the reply

I deleted the config.php from the root, and I did upload a fresh copy from the original folder downloaded from sourceforge.ne. Now when I press the Config button a black page opens up.

perhaps you deleted more than one file?  Can you post a link, perhaps we could give you a hint as to what might be wrong if we could see it.

If no mods have been applied, I would just upload all the Coppermine files again (except the /albums directory, config.inc.php).

I meant to say BLANK page not a black page, not sure if that will make a difference
