Title: SSI or equivalilent
Post by: kroberson on June 20, 2005, 05:35:25 PM
Hello there!

I just stumbled upon this great script and am evaluating it to make sure that it will fit our needs. I have two questions for you...

1) I understand it has a picture rotation feature... can this rotation be set to rotate dailing, weekly, monthly???
2) Is there some sort of SSI (or equivilant feature) where I can draw this rotating picture on to other pictures of my website (ie homepage, forum, articles, etc etc)

Thanks, in advance, for your help. Keep up the great work on this script!

Kevin

As Nibbler pointed out... that board has a bunch of nifty stuff you can amaze both friends and relatives with!

I do the cpmfetch series, and there is Gau Gau's original SSI script also.  I am not sure about a weekly, monthly rotation as a default option... my stuff is purely whatever you asked for, but does not provide anything to just change once a week.  You could pretty easily extend it to do that though - just wrap it in a date checking formula or something...

Hmmm, look around board 57 (cpmfetch under modifications and hacks) and post there is you have any questions

Thanks! I've already downloaded the fetch script... looks quite handy.

Where can I find the SSI script?

Download the development version... there is an example of doing it through SSI included, and the CPMFETCH SSI also has its own thread in the cpmfetch child board.

Let me know how it goes, since that part is new - but should work flawlessly :D

Great thanks!

You mentioned something about wrapping in a date check... where could I see an example?
