I installed coppermine on my site http://gregorysmith.fanhost.com/gallery/ and two days ago I was able to login fine. I tried to login yesterday, but it said *** Couldn't log in. Try again ***. Then tried to retrieve my password typing in my email adres and then it said "Selected user does not exist!'. I made sure I typed in the right email adres.
So, my question is, is there another way to get my password back.
Yes, you can lookup your password in the cpg_users table in your database using phpmyadmin. You are probably user_id 1.
I don't think I can install that since I only have access to one database. I only have the password and such for one.
It doesn't require a database. You may already have it installed by your host, check with them.
OK, I just installed it and the use thats in the database is the same user as I typed in. But it still says can't login
phpMyAdmin is not an app that requires a database, it's an app that manages database(s)
well, I got it to work. I registered as a new user and gave myself admin priveleges with PHPmyAdmin
