Title: how to switch to GD version 1.x ??

Everytime I try to upload new pictures i get this message:PHP running on your server does not support GD version 2.x, please switch to GD version 1.x on the admin page
though few weeks ago everything was working just fine
I can't find how to switch to GD version 1.x

coppermine config: set "Method for resizing images" to "GD version 1.x"
