And therefore I'm asking for ideas...
So far that's what I'm doing right now
1. possibility for admin to enable/ disable all notifications
2. user can enable/ disable notifications in his profile
3. user can manage all pics he's subscribed to in his profile (removing certain ones)
4. user can turn on auto subscribtion in profile for all pics he comments
5. possibility to turn on/ off notifications while viewing the pic
if you've more ideas/ suggestions, please let me know
yo, haven't had that much time but it's nearly finished now. If no one is interested in it... hmm, then I save my time getting things in order and posting it on the mods board.
Finished so far
Admin enable notifications on/ off
In user profiles:
1. auto enable notification when posting pics on/ off
2. auto enable notification when commenting on/ off
3. link to a list of all subscribtions - possibility to remove them all or one by one
in displayimage
user can click a link to enable/ disable notifications for that pic
still to do... just the email loop
Hey Stramm,
This is exactly what I am looking for. Please don' t stop this mod. I am very interested in it and I think other people would love it, too, they just don' t know yet. ;)
I think you have already gathered all necessary features. Do you think this will work with a phpbb bridge?
I have an ignore list added to my phpbb. It would be nice to be able to ignore those people.

it's already finished (for 1.3x and 1.4). Search the modifications/ hacks board (modpack and for 1.3x there's a notifications only thread). Out of the box it won't work with a bridged CPG. But with a lil bit knowledge of php/mysql it should be really easy to get it going
