Title: Installation problems - need help.
Post by: JennaA on August 13, 2005, 05:10:39 PM
Firstly, I've tried to install, and followed the setup instructions. I put in my browser http://www.(website).co.uk/cpg1.3.3/cpg133/install.php which is where the file was located, and I got a lot of error messages, one which said "You installed the standalone Coppermine into your Nuke portal. Please download and install a CPG Port" and other things I didn't understand. Is there any way I can get this installed? Because I really need it.

Secondly
Quoteany webserver, Apache recommended (Coppermine has been reported to work with Apache, Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), Roxen WebServer)
PHP 4.1.0 or better
GD lib or Image Magick
mySQL 3.23.23 or better (4.x recommended). Don't confuse the client api version (which is shown in phpinfo) with the mySQL version!

How do i find out what I have?

Post a link to your actual webiste instead of a dummy placeholder url.

Did you read the FAQ (http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/faq.php)?

Thirdly: we have a "one question per thread" policy you agreed to respect when signing up.

JennaA,

http://www.s-club-8.co.uk/cpg1.3.3/cpg133/ is the link to your gallery. If you notice your web browser will display the contents of the php page. It looks like your webserver does not have PHP support and therefore can not parse the pages correctly. Check with your webhost to see if you in fact have PHP support. CPG requires PHP.

Hope this helps,
