Title: LOCKED OUT OF SITE AND NEED DESPERATE HELP!

I have been locked out of my website! It is set offline and I was just having a final look and it let me log in as my other name. Now I cannot log off, neither can I access the site or log in as administrator, so I am locked out completely!

Can someone help and tell me how to prevent this please.

Folks, I have solved it by deleting cookies in my browser, but perhaps someone could help with preventing this in future. Or is this more likely when the site is offline?

If you set your site to maintenance mode, you have to stay logged in as the administrator.  Logging out means you can't get back in unless you use phpMyAdmin and set the maintenance mode back to normal.
