I can not seem to find the config page for coppermine, is there a way to get into the cofig page?

If you are logged in as admin and are in admin mode, you should see the link. Did you read the docs?

I have run CMG for a year, and have never seen or had that link on CMG

I don't know why that button would be missing from your gallery. Can you access the config page via this link ?

If I do that, I get this error:

You appear to be using the english language file from 1.4 instead of 1.3. Replace lang/english.php with a fresh copy from the Coppermine download package. If you can do an update to 1.3.4 then that would be even better.
