Title: Yet another upload problem
Post by: shaun on September 15, 2005, 01:25:58 AM
Hello,

After re-CHMODing and confirming as well as adding the 'silly-safe' line to the config file I am still unable to upload.  I followed the tutorial on uploading error reporting and have the following output - please help!

Safe mode is not enabled on your server so setting silly_safe_mode is doing you more harm than good. The tutorial requests that you post a test user account and a link to your gallery, please do so.

Yes indeed safe mode is off - so as you've suggested I've removed the 'silly safe' line.

My installation is at:
http://www.unitedchurchyouth.ca/ucy/gallery/
with the user - test password - test

Thanks in advance!

My test upload went through fine. What errors are you getting ?

Now that's just wierd!  I remain unable to upload and get the error:

Script called without the required parameter(s).

File: /var/www/html/ucy/gallery/db_input.php - Line: 41

I'll post the entire debug info below and I remain grateful for your help!

don't post the debug_output unless a supporter requests it. Use a known-good test file with small filesize and dimensions and try again. Post the actual error message (if any).

Thanks for replying.  When attempting to upload the attached file - a test png file created in Fireworks - I get the following error:

Script called without the required parameter(s).

File: /var/www/html/ucy/gallery/db_input.php - Line: 41

So far the only file I can successfully upload are copies and variations of the 'avatar' file that was earlier uploaded.

Your help is, as always, appreciated.

your site is extremely slow. Are you by chance self-hosted?

No, the site's hosted by WebServe Canada.
