Title: Batch Add leads me to blank page
Post by: Law on September 27, 2005, 08:22:13 AM
I've set the directories to 777. 755 doesn't work. My directories are where they should be, not in edit or userpics. But for some reason, when I click on the directory on the Batch Add page, all I get is a blank page instead of being asked what album my images should be put in.

Please help?

there's something fishy with your html output, so this may be related to your custom theme. Try using the classic theme that comes with coppermine temporarily and check if this fixes your issues.

Reuploaded the classic theme, and I'm still getting the same problem.

I even tried using an automated installation from my cpanel at http://www.capped.biz/caps, and I'm still getting the same problem.

I've also just realised that when I try to batch add a directory that has less images, say under 100, it works fine. The other directories, that are leading towards that blank page, have 600-1000+.

I know theres a way around this, because I've done it before. Anyone know?

this means that your server runs into a timeout. Either make your webhost fix this (I don't think they will), or add less files in one go.
