Title: how do I set up automaticly sending new registration email

OK I might be a bit slow at computer things but I am trying.I have spent 2 hours reading on this site and cant see the answer.When someone new registers why does it not send an automatic email to confirm registration.What do I need to set up and how.I have a vodahost resselers account that I am toying with.If that helps.Thank you

Have you read the documentation?  Included with every install; there's also a link at the top of the page.

have you enabled the confirmation email in coppermine's config? Does coppermine send any emails at all? If no, find out if your server runs on Windows or Linux. You better ask your webhost about this. Please read http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg13x/docs/index.htm#smtp as well.

right I am trying here. Where do I find the file " include/mailer.inc.ph" IF I can find it I will attemmpt to edit it.Thank you

Uh, did you enable "User registration requires email verification", as instructed in the documentation?

Inside your coppermine folder, in the sub-folder "include". I guess you have installed using an auto-installer like fantastico, so the file doesn't exist on your local hard drive, but only on your webserver. Download the whole coppermine folder with all files and folders to your local harddrive using your favorite FTP app. Then you can start editing your files. However, your server seems to have sendmail, so there should be no need to configure mailer.inc.php. I recommend asking your webhost for support instead.
