Title: Keywords and private albums
Post by: orangutan on September 30, 2005, 04:48:16 PM
Hello!

I want to solve such kind of problem: when a user places a picture in his private album and enters a keyword for that picture, the picture can be viewed in another album with the same keyword only  if the user's album has public rights, but it cant's be viewed if the rights of user album are "Only me".

In which coppermine gallery file I need to rewrite some code?

P.S. sorry for my bad english =)
Thanks

why do you want to have private albums when a simple search would make the pics public again??

The permission stuff isn't that easy. And I don't think you can keep the private album system as is and just let searches pass. For that you'll have to rewrite and rethink more than you may be aware right now. To get a start check out $FORBIDDEN_SET
