Title: The file you have uploaded is not a valid image !
Post by: Seuss on October 02, 2003, 11:05:45 AM
Hi

Just uploaded the script and created an album without any problems but when I try to upload a .jpg file I get the following message:

The file you have uploaded is not a valid image !

I have tried various images of different sizes and get the same message every time.

phpinfo shows:

gd
GD Support - enabled
GD Version - 1.6.2 or higher
FreeType Support  - enabled
FreeType Linkage - with TTF library
JPG Support - enabled
PNG Support - enabled
WBMP Support - enabled

Any idea what I can do to correct this?

Thanks

Seuss

Got your PM....I am posting my reply here so everyone can benefit from further discussion:

QuoteSeuss,

You are using the older 1.0 RC3 version. I suggest you install and use ver 1.1 or 1.1.1. I am at a loss for why it will not work....but I noticed you configure command was very complicated in your phpinfo file. Are you sure you compiled php with jpg support properly and you link to the jpglib is correct. Search the board here, there has been a lengthy discussion on this before.

MODS:  This should be moved to the correct board.
