Title: Need some help
Post by: sp00k on December 07, 2003, 05:24:18 PM
I created a categorie
example: categorie1

Created few albums in catergorie1
example: album1
album2
and so on...

How do I appoint an album to a registered user so he can out pictures in it ...?

Cause it seems that you can't up it except in your own user galleries...

You have to set the album so that members of the registered group can upload to it. Sorry but currently you can't appoint only ONE user who can upload to it, unless you put that user in a separate group of his own.

Steps I did

Group --> Add new group
Users --> Edit user, changed him to the new group

So how can I give that group access to upload to certain album, Don't see where you can put permissions of albums ...

Modify the album settings to allow user uploads.

In group settings, make sure that user's group doesn't need upload approval, while the registered group does.

you can't: expected behaviour. Coppermine simply doesn't have this granular permission/groups management you want it to have.
