Title: Can not use batchupload anymore...... please help!!
Post by: Snowgasm on October 07, 2005, 06:05:57 PM
Hi, when I try to upload via batchupload I get the following error (could not find any specific answer to this in your forum)

Warning: getimagesize: Read error! in /var/www/my-site/Album/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 226
Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image

I use GD1.6 (or higher).

What is going wrong??

Please help, becouse it worked before, until I deleted some galleries........

Thanks Snow

That error means the image doesn't exist.  If you deleted the images via FTP and not Coppermine, that would cause this type of problem.

Nope, that's not it..... I've checked all the directories..... they all contain files.

Coppermine finds the files when I choose the directory in Batch Upload..... shows the thumbs and causes no problem, when I click "insert selected files" things go wrong.....

It doesn't say anything like ok or DP or PB in the result section.....

when I click the result section this message comes up:

Warning: getimagesize: Read error! in /var/www/my-site/Album/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 226
Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image

Maybe you should in config switch to 'GD1' as 'Method for resizing images' when you have GD 1.x installed. Currently you have set it to GD2. And if it's really true that you've only installed GD1 I highly recommend to upgrade
