Title: intergarding Coppermine & Phpbb forum
Post by: xtremenorthwest on October 10, 2005, 09:00:10 PM
Is there a way to intergrade Coppermine & Phpbb forum members. Member that are sign on my forum, can also use the same user ID without signning up again on the gallery. Or better yet when they login on my forum it will also login them into gallery too. Same way if they login on gallery they will be login on the forum.

Thanks for your help.

@xtremenorthwest: http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg13x/docs/index.htm#integrating

be cool GauGau :))

I have a simple question, my board and gallery used to be bridged, however when upgrading from cpg1.3.3 to cpg1.3.5, i forgot to make a backup of my init.inc.php file. So my BBS and gallery got un-bridged :((

If I re-bridge my BBS-gall, will I lose everything?

I have no members, i'm the only one(admin) posting images and stuff for now. If I "RTFM" correctly, nothing bad is suppose to happen? Yes?

No, the line in init.inc.php is just a switch. You can enable/disable it (meaning: turn integration on/off) at any time.

Yes, that's correct.

I'm curious... why then the need to bridge?

It's possible for members to create their own albums, it's just that I have no members yet :p
