Title: Can't run the install.php file
Post by: Patra on October 13, 2005, 11:36:29 PM
Hi! I'm having some problems with the installation....
I've done the 3 first steps [Unpack the archive preserving the directory structure. Upload all files onto your webserver. CHMOD the folders albums and include to 755 (or 777, depending on your server config)], but when it comes to the fourth [Run the install script on your server (http://your_server/coppermine_dir/install.php) and follow the instructions] I can't do it. It says "Page not found". Is there some little detail that I'm missing?  :-\\ What else can I do?

Thanks in advance and sorry for the bother...

What is the exact url you are using to install.php ? It has to be your actual domain name and path you uploaded coppermine to.

I'm using this link
http://within-temptation.330.ca/coppermine/install.php

In stead of 'coppermine' I tried 'gallery' because its the name that I gave to the folder, and 'coppermine_dir' but the result was the same...
