Title: table structure error
Post by: eke on December 09, 2003, 12:37:19 AM
i guess with all themes, verified with default and mac ox theme. haven't looked at the others but since all have similar theme.php structures all themes most likely suffer from these errors.

just paste the html code of any site coppermine generates into your favorite html editor application and turn on html syntax highlighting.
the table structure has overlapping and/or unclosed table tags all over the place.

easy to spot the errors and correct them...

nasty tables.

Yeah, I have severe problems using the mac-ox theme in another table. It totalle messes up the other table's structure.

I checked the theme.php file a couple of times, but can't find a solution. Any suggestions?

Thx.

is your posting meant to be a bug report or a support request? We're aware that coppermine currently is neither html standards compliant nor perfect when it comes to nested tables, but you have to be a bit more specific. For a start, a link and/or a screenshot might help...
Actually, many of those issues have been corrected in cpg1.3.x (although the html output is still far from perfect). To correct those issues it would be the easiest way if you upgraded to the most recent stable release cpg1.3.2. Thank you.
