Title: Install page keeps going back to page
Post by: Zoist on November 18, 2005, 02:23:31 AM
Hi, I am trying to install. Every time I click Let's Go, it goes back to the same script starting fresh without any error.  ???
I have Apache 1.3x, Mysql 5, PHP 5.05 and Imagemagick 6.2.5.

Thanks.

Use Coppermine 1.3.5, that will give you an error message. Search the board for issues with PHP 5 and MySQL 5.

Thanks. It was just a php.ini setting.

well what was the damn setting? it is happening with mine since I upgrade from your 1.3.4 beta to 1.3.5
So many mistakes introduced its not funny. Videos also now show up inlittle tiny windows and the first thumbnail is size 1px x 1px???? the rest are fine. What the hell is going on with this thing, I just had it running smooth and now it is worse than ever since this damn upgrade.

you probably did something wrong with the upgrade - cpg1.3.5 was a maintenance release that only fixed bugs, but didn't introduce anything new. There was no such thing as a cpg1.3.4beta. You're not suppossed to be on the install page when upgrading, so I guess you're on the wrong thread. Instead of swearing, you should start your own thread and post what exactly goes wrong, with a link to your page.

yeah your absolutely right it was an error on my behalf which I worked out now. Apologies for the way I spoke, you deserve better than that for providing such a cool free script to the world, sorry.
