I had cpg 1.3.5 installed to work together with mine phpbb board..
After upgrading van cpg 1.3.5 to 1.4.2 I've no users anymore at CPG therefore I cannot login als admin :(
I had as template the standard template water_drop that came with 1.3.5

Login using the original admin account you created during installation.
I've tried that.. But still keeps on saying That I cannot loggin and that I've to tried again ::)

you can't, it's encrypted afaik.
It was encrypted during the upgrade process?
If it's an upgrade from 1.3 then the passwords would remain plaintext.
Your server does not appear to be setting any cookies atall, that is the real issue.

I have the same problem. I just upgraded, and now I can't log in.
I've tried to log in as the first account listed on phpMyAdmin, but it still doesn't work.
When I clicked on "Forgot my password" I got an e-mail with a link to a page that looked like this:

You haven't set the url to coppermine correctly in config then, it still points to our site. You'll need to set that manually in the config table if you can't login.

I managed to fix the "Forgot password" thing, and got a new one, but I still can't log in. :(
I've fixed this by adding a new useraccount with de rights of account 1...
After that I could login again :o

I've just re-updated Coppmermine, but I still can't log in. :( This sucks so much. >:(
In your cpg_config table, check the "enable_encrypted_passwords" record. It should be '0' if you upgraded from a 1.3 version. If it's '1', change it to '0', then try to log in with the first account listed in your cpg_users table again (whose password I assume is plain text in the table).
