Hi,
I have version 1.3.5 modified to support to water marks like law in the east forum. My question is if this new version supports water marks since as I am going to actulizar I am going to perdir the code that I put so that it could fucionar the water marks. If this new version does not support them as we can put them? Thanks
sorry by the English but I am Spanish and I use google to translate
please help
thanks!
As far as I know, there is NO watermark mod or plug-in that is available for 1.4.x, yet.
A plug-in is being developed but it has not been released, yet.
You may want to wait for that before upgrading.

I'm working on a new version of my modpack. Will release it the next days. However I'm afraid it won't be a plugin. My watermark stuff is to much for that. An 'on the fly watermark' plugin wouldn't be a problem though. But others take care of that
edit: still looking for someone to test what I have so far
thanks I am going to hope to see if it leaves a new version that has the water mark.
the new modpack is up ;)
have fun ... and don't forget to backup everything
The CPGMark plugin on cpg-contrib.org is working with 1.4.2 at least on my dev install.
There's been a couple reports of SQL issues, but we haven't been able to duplicate.

When it is available?
why don't you ask over at the other forum donnoman refered to, instead of posting on this one? Asking for fixed dates is silly though in the first place, you'll get an answer like "it'll be released when it's done". If they knew a release date, they would be publishing it, don't you agree?
It's available now via CVS. It's module name is CPGMark, and you can get it by loosely following the directions to get coppermine cvs here (http://cpg-contrib.org/index.php?file=minicms/cms&id=21), just substitute the module name, and project name which is cpg-contrib.
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/cpg-contrib login
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/cpg-contrib co -P CPGMark
I'm waiting for a few things to be worked out before making a zip package out of it, more users will help flesh it out.
I upgraded cpg from v1.3.3 to v1.4.2 today, with no consecutive errors. However, on 1.3.3 I used a watermark "add-on" which is found here (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=7160.0). As I was upgrading, thus overwriting the affected/modified files, I had to rewrite the new files. This was no apparent problem, untill I got to the part where I should edit Util.php (Step 3) where functions etc was not found - like function deleteorig(). The conclusion was that this was removed from the file. Seeing that I am in "need" of the watermarking feature, I would appreciate to be guided towards an equivalent watermarking-feature - or even better, is it essential that the code written in the guide must be placed in the file, in the specific place?
I COULD try this on my own, but I'm not a top notch coder who understands the core build of cpg. ;-)
Any constructive answer is appreciated!
the watermark hack you refer to comes as a mod, so yes: you'll have to re-apply the mod. That's the drawback of using mods: upgrading get's harder. Mods don't get supported on the regular support forum, only on the mod sub-baord. There's no use going there, asking for someone to port the mod for cpg1.4.x.
You replied to a thread that discusses the watermark mod that is recommended by the dev team, because it is using the new plugin concept that will make upgrades easier in the future. Either use the plugin discussed on this thread or try to find out how to update the old mod if you need it that badly. Don't try to hijack threads in the future.
