Why do I have to check the "remember me" box when I log in?
If I don't check this box I can't log in...
the "remember me" means the cookie persists after the browser session, that's all. If you can't login at all without the checkbox enabled, take a look into your browser's cookie settings. If you think they're ok, create a test user account and publish it here along with a link to your gallery, so we can take a look.

The browser is set to accept all cookies so I think it's ok.
I have the same problem in both Opera and IE6.

I can confirm this behaviour, although this is not coppermine-related imo:
another happy camper running his own server :wink: : check your server's cookie lifetime settings (php.ini) for a start...
