Post by: tofqc on November 30, 2005, 04:45:26 AM
Hi,

I just installl coppermine and I tried to upload some picture using FTP I did the following :

1) make sure all chmod ok :P
2) create a subfolder "test" in the /albums folder
3) FTP my files in the subfolder
4) go to batch upload menu
5) here start the problem : I am under GD2, I choose the folder I want to upload, and the site show me thumbnails of my pictures until now everything is ok, but when I pick the picture I want to upload in an album and I click ok, the result page says that it can't create thumbnails...

Whatr do I do wrong, I tries Imagemagik and it didn't work either

Anyone can help me ?

Thanks

I didn't ask for the debug_output. Re-read the section of the docs I refered to and do as suggested there.

did you CHMOD as suggested in the docs? You haven't done as suggested in the docs I refered to - you haven't set the file upload method to single file uploads only for the group the test user is in, so I wasn't able to do any more testing. I'm not willing to repeat myself over and over again, refering to the very same section in the docs, so I'm out of this thread.

Sorry Gaugau, but I did exactly as indicated in the docs, I tried the CHMOD (I check and reapply them) I made the single file upload ....

I see 5 file upload boxes and 3 URI boxes. How is this supposed to be 'single file uploads only' ?

Check the groups page and the manual.
