this is my error when upload picture using coppermine:
"Critical error
The picture 'modules/coppermine/albums/userpics/10003/campaign.jpg' can't be inserted in the album
Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image.

Is GD enabled in your version of PHP by default? check you advanced debug output http://coppermine.findhere.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=search
