Post by: jacques_brelle on December 17, 2003, 10:10:52 PM
Hi,
I've found this nice website using the forum and this is quite exactly what I'm trying to get for days witout success...
does anyone can explain to me how to get this :
http://lomoblog.com/album/lastup/category/1/img/4 :

- square thumbnails
- a navbar on the right side...
(Yes, I've read the faq and the forum, even the "quick and dirty" tips... all I've tried doesn't work... sorry...)

I want to be lomobloged !
Won't you come to my rescue ?

I think the owner of lomoblog discusses the thumbnail settings, on the http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=34&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30 thread

Hi Jacques,
Square thumbnails involve some heavy changes on several files. It also means that your thumb settings are changed in a permanent way.
I believe that it could be done right by an experienced and competent coder, which I'm not.

As for the nav bar on the right side, it's a question of TDs and TRs, I think, although I don't use those.

Thanks for your reply Ricardo.
Would you accept to share your hacked version of cpg ?

Sorry but no =(
Quoting myself:
QuoteThe changes I've made to my CPG have been rather extensive and like I said before, almost every file as been modified which makes impossible to share anything less than the entire code to make it work.
Releasing "my" code would be irresponsible, to say the least.

The CPG dev team is rather good and competent. As soon as I have time, we'll find a way to make my hacks available to all.
