That link isnt workin.
http://www.nukephotogallery.com
And what do I find at http://www.nukephotogallery.com
- 1 loge
- 3 dead links
- 1 link for 'Browse CSV'
To me it look like Coppermine is dead seen from a PHPNuke point of view - - :\'( Im sad because it was a good module.
And GauGau - when the questions about where to find support for PhpNuke stay on coming, it might be because the given links do not offer any help
I just went to www.nukephotogallery.com, and the forums are working fine. Multiple boards for all Nuke versions. The module is alive and well, I assure you.
If you're having trouble, try http://nukephotogallery.com instead of the www version.
And I also just went to http://nukephotogallery.com/?name=Forums, and found it to be working. Note, i accessed this via the original link (www. etc...)
Not as busy as here, I agree, but certainly still active.
@Jenses: I don't care if people come back here looking for nuke support - I will send them away, since we (the coppermine standalone dev team) simply can not support the nuke version - we simply don't know how it works. Returning back here on this board and complaining about the nuke page not being available is just wishfull thinking - since the nuked and the standalone version differ in nearly every aspect; they're not twins, they are cousins.
If the nuke page is down for you at some time, do what you're supposed to do with all websites: come back later and try again. Neither the nuke team nor we have a budget we could spend, we have to use whatever webhosting we can get. Sometimes the standalone page here at sf.net is slow because of huge server load, sometimes the nuke page might be down for some reason or the other. Guess you will have to live with this fact.
GauGau
My appologies to you GauGau.
I know you are doing a great job here - and I wasnt aware that the stand-alone version was so much different form the Nuked version (but thinking of it, its quite clear it must be so).
I will give it some mor tries to get into the nuke version.
So what to do now? Does anybody know where to get support, because when I'm visiting nukephotogallery.com, I get the following message:
This Account Has Been Suspended
Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible.
support for "Coppermine for CMS" has been abandoned, becasue the underlying core code of phpNuke was so buggy. The team has decided to move on and start a nuke clone of their own, with re-build core, more stability, security and performance. Visit http://www.cpgnuke.com for more.
Joachim
thnx a lot for the info - thank god I don't need the coppermineforcms anymore :)
Sorry to bother on dead links again.......
The We MOVED TO link says
This Account Has Been Suspended
Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible.
But then again the cousin story sound attractive!! Will the CPGNuke8.2 allow me to replace Nuke7.3 with cpgnuke122 as module without lossing content (links, downloads, reviews, galleries etc)
Just checked coppermine 1.3 but it's not a module version. And the nukephotogallery.com link seems to be off for a while. I needed it for a question how to change the comment notification. Cool as an admin I recieve emails on them but I guess the image owner is to be mailed a notification too. I also found images not showing up using the 122securityfix..... plenty of reasons to miss the board but the cousin story?????
Now that's interesting!!!........
Anyone can spare a moment to advice this noob??
Sorry, I can't help you for I'm using Postnuke.
Did you read gaugaus post above, and try http://www.cpgnuke.com/
Who are you asking, Casper?
I thought cpgnuke would be a standalone CMS?
Sorry, that was meant for skoeter,
It is a cms. But that is also where you can get the coppermine for cpgnuke. It's done by the same team.
