Post by: Zanelli on December 30, 2005, 10:22:01 PM
After installing the http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=24582.msg113221 (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=24582.msg113221) fix the problem was fixed but a new one arose.

Now I can only login from the forum, as the login/logout buttons in the gallery go to a compleatly white page and I can't re-access the bridge manager!?

Please help.

My gallery's at: www.theaahc.net/Gallery (http://www.theaahc.net/Gallery)

Okay I decided to compleatly reinstall my gallery.

Everything works fine now, ecept I can't login from the gallery.

I click on login, it redirects me to the forum login, I type in username and password, It redirects me back to the gallery to find I'm not logged in. Also my main site uses frames and it breaks out of these.

Don't use frames.

No offence but *beep* do you mean "Don't use frames", some of the best designed sites use frames and I don't think you have a right to say if should or not.

Coppermine version: cpg1.4.3
Address: Read above.
Test user account: Jet / test

Actually, we have the right to say "don't use frames".  Coppermine breaks frames, so why would we recommend them?

There are plenty of resources that feel the same way we do.  Here's one (http://www.html-faq.com/htmlframes/?framesareevil) you might want to read.

Wrong only the login from the forum to the gallery breaks frames.

My site has got almost 3000000 hits in just under the 2 months it's been up, I know what makes a good site.
