Title: phpbb - users not in any group can't get logged into cpg
Post by: rms on January 14, 2006, 02:29:48 AM
Most of my phpbb users aren't in any group in phpbb.  It seems that they can't login to cpg without being in a group when I do the bridge.  When I look at the cpg user list, only those few people in a phpbb group show up.  I tested and put another user in group 0 and now they can log in.  Any way around this?  I don't have this running on a public site yet or I would show everyone.

I don't get it: how can users be in "no group" at all? They should at least be in the "registered users" group. I'm not sure about recent versions of phpbb (I quit using phpBB some time ago), but I couldn't think of a community app like phpBB being structured without group membership.

Nope - not in a registered users group.  Maybe something happened during my installation of the board a long time ago.  Easy thing to fix, but thought I'd see if anyone else had the same problem before.
