Title: Unable to place files...
Post by: whisky on January 21, 2006, 07:29:12 PM
When i'm done uploading files, on the last screen I get this;

The previous file could not be placed.

You have successfully placed all the files.

I have no clue why this should happen as everything was OK a week ago. Although, I DID get a blank MySQL error e-mail from my SMF forum.

Any ideas on what should be done?

Here's a test account belonging to the "registered" group;

user: test
pass: test123

you haven't enabled the test user to be able to upload into a public album (you do this on the groups page and then in at least one album, using the "album properties" button, enabling "visitors can upload"), so I had to create an album for the test user inside his personal gallery first. When trying to upload I get
QuoteThe file 'albums/userpics/10003/Beispiel.jpg' can't be inserted in the album

Error executing ImageMagick - Return value: 127

Cmd line :
/usr/bin/convert -quality 80 -antialias -geometry 100x74 'albums/userpics/10003/Beispiel.jpg' 'albums/userpics/10003/thumb_Beispiel.jpg'
This means that you haven't specified the correct path to ImageMagick's convert executable during coppermine install or that you don't have ImageMagick at all on your server. Try switching to GD2 in coppermine's config ("Method to resize pics"). Then try again.

Additionally, you should upgrade your coppermine version at least to cpg1.3.5 asap, as you're running cpg1.3.3, which has security vulnerabilities.

Thanks! switching to GD2 just did the trick!
