Here is the problem. I upload a quicktime movie, it uploads, and I push it into the gallery. When I view the movie, I loads and then a question mark appears over the Quicktime logo (it's a .mov).
I do not have GD installed, but I do have imagemagick installed.

We only support standalone Coppermine here, no ports or other versions.
Understandable, however, this problem existed in the version of coppermine I downloaded from you. I just used this to integrate into joomla. Do you have any advice as to why this wouldn't work. Everything else works perfect, no problem at all. The port is exactly the same as yours. Please, any advice would be great.
The file itself does not play on my machine, I don't think it's a Coppermine issue.
Okay, I mean, I kind of assumed that. Maybe you have some information regarding what could be the issue? It is running of OS X so there are surely quicktime libraries on the machine. I know for a fact (I think). Do I need to double check to make sure that FFMpeg libraries are installed, is that the interfacing that the server uses to broadcast the source material, or do I have to enable some option on the server. I don't know why this would be an issue
I am able to broadcast quicktime files independent of Coppermine.
Is this a ffmpeg issue? What does coppermine use to display the videos?

Coppermine just links to the movie - it is up to the browser to handle downloading/streaming, there is no broadcasting involved.
Okay, when I said broadcasting, I meant in very generic terms, similar to streaming. Well, so you're saying ffmpeg has nothing to do with this?
Nothing whatsover, you are making this more complicated than it is. Download the file and see if you can play it locally.
Grrr. You know what. You're absolutely right. The file I had uploaded was actually the fault of the whole situation. I uploaded a test file and it worked beautiful. Now to make php upload larger files...
