Title: Connect to MySQL

When install.php try too connect to MySQL I get this message :Could not create a mySQL connection, please check the SQL values entered

MySQL error was : Lost connection to MySQL server during query

The MySQL server need to be running reliably before you attempt to install Coppermine.

The following errors were encountered and need to be corrected first:

My problem .  Username murerhans.com  (can not correct on Web-hotel)

You make up your own admin username and password.

I do not have access to mysq server  (Web-hotel)

It is asking you to make up a name and password that you want to use to login to coppermine as admin. It is not related to any other usernames you may have been assigned.

make up your coppermine admin user name and password -> choose one you want to use from now on. You have to know your mySQL data beforehand, but you don't need to know your coppermine admin username and password - you create it during install. That's what the field is for. Just choose an alphanumeric string that you can memorize easily. Choose a password that can't be guessed. If you don't understand this answer, look up the term "make up" in a dictionary.
If the mySQL username is fixed to murerhans.com and you have no way to change it, then your webhost doesn't know his way around - contact them and ask them to fix this name for you - in mySQL user names, database names and table names mustn't contain a dot.
You appear to be French, maybe you prefer using the french support board (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?board=38.0)...

Problem solved.  My Web-hat did the install  :)
mySQL username is fixed to murerhans.com , but my my webhost  know his way around  ;D
