Post by: OMGWTF on February 22, 2006, 04:49:32 PM
Coppermine install: not on Internet yet
Forum install: not on Internet yet
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.3
Forum version: phpBB 2.0.19

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.site.com/
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ??????
Use post-based groups?:  0

Can I link back, if so, what do I put in that field?

You need to state where the gallery is before anyone can tell you the path to it.

One last question. What if, I had a subdomain for the gallery. So it would be gallery.mysite.com and the forum would be mysite.com?

That would depend on how the subdomain is represented in the filesystem. If it was in public_html/gallery (ie. accessible via domain.com/gallery aswell as the gallery.domain.com) then the path would be the same.

Nope, its not. Each subdomain has its own folder, is it still possible?

Yes, you just need to specify the correct path.

Right, because that is not a path. Enter the correct path and it will work.

So, would that be without the protocol and www. ? Becuase /mydomain.com/ dosen't seem to work, neither does mydomain.com/

you need to specify a relative path. Find out the differences between an URL, an absolute path and a relative path by googling for it.
