Title: Setting up a nav bar like the one on the coppermine site
Post by: SpeakToMeNow on February 27, 2006, 08:38:39 AM
Just installed coppermine, went in easy as you like.

I've started reading here, but if there is a thread on how to include a nav bar like the coppermine one to sit at the top of my page that would be excellent.

Anyone point me to the thread or docs for the newbie? I've read in the manual that editing the header "is only meant for experienced users who have some PHP know-how."

and that ain't me!
;)

Thanks,
Matty

you use the 'custom header' (set the path in config)
it's just a html document you save in your gallery root. It contains the code to display the navigation. In config -> Themes settings -> Path to custom header include you set the path to this file. If it's in the gallery root the doc name is usually enough
