Hello,
I have a very simple question (and I'm sure a very easy solution!), but how do I make my Gallery home page, found here: http://www.yachtpm.com/gallery/index.php resemble that found on the Demo on this site?
I would like to have a small thumbnail beside each category, or album with a short description.
Thanks in advance,
Greg
:?
upgrade to the most recent version (at the moment cpg1.2.1)...

Thanks very much GauGau!
It worked perfectly and I see the value of anycontent.php now.
Please take a look at http://www.sumurun.com/coppermine/ and when I compare to your Demo, I'm a little confused.
Am I reading that 'Fruit', 'Misc', 'Pasta' and Vegetables' are "Albums" of the Category "Food"?
On my page, 'Interior Refit', 'Deck', 'Engine Room', 'Hull and other exterior work', and 'Miscellaneous' are "Albums" of "Winter 2003/2004 Refit Gallery.
Please clarify so I can get thumbnails showing for my 4 albums.
Thanks again,
Greg
here's what you did:
- create category "Winter 2003/2004 Refit Gallery"
- create subcategories 'Interior Refit', 'Deck', 'Engine Room', 'Hull and other exterior work', and 'Miscellaneous' inside the main category "Winter 2003/2004 Refit Gallery"
- create albums inside the subcategory "Interior Refit" created in step 2 labelled "watty66"[/list:o]
here's what you should have done:
- create category "Winter 2003/2004 Refit Gallery"
- create albums 'Interior Refit', 'Deck', 'Engine Room', 'Hull and other exterior work', and 'Miscellaneous' inside the category "Winter 2003/2004 Refit Gallery"
- upload pics to the albums[/list:o]You have to understand that "categories" can contain sub-categories or albums, whereas "albums" can only contain pics.
