Alright, the installation is complete. Now when I go to http://www.mysite.com/.../login.php I get a blank page. Why?
post an actual url instead of a dummy placeholder.
I'm having the same problem with my install into yahoo. I read the Yahoo hosting FAQ and i did everything there. When I try to go to the login page i get a blank page as well.

Install was fine. Yet, nothing on any other pages appear!

- http://mypreciouspaws.net/tmp/coppermine/ is not there (404 error)
- http://at.liquidstorm.co.uk/photo/ works fine for me using Firefox or IE, so it must be something on your client that keeps you from accessing it. For a start, clear your cookies and browser cache.
Strange, cos I still can't access it, neithier can anyone else who I ask to try the link!

Three different client systems tested using IE 6.0 with NT, 2000, and XP. I have several other PHP components running without error, and have mySQL v4 running as data backbone.
Please help, Thanks,
Jim
whoa guys, hold it. Blank pages can be caused by a variety of reasons. Don't you all post to the same thread at once. None of you is the original thread starter, so please bear with me. Have you searched the forum for the term "blank page" already and tried the suggestions?
When I first saw GauGau's reply yesterday, I was a little upset because I thought that he was just blowing off people, all of who were having the same problem. I now know that this was not the case, because his advise worked, when I searched the forums for "blank page" and started trouble shooting the issue, it was not complex to correct.
What I did:
1. deleted the directory where I had coppermine installed on the Yahoo Geocities webserver
2. recreate the directory
3. unzipped the installation file into a directory on my local system, searched for all files that had an exclamation point ("!") at the end of the file name, and rename them to remove the "!"
4. modified my ftp program to transfer all the files in "auto" mode (instead of the default binary) and re-uploaded all of the files.
5. went into my mySQL and deleted all of the tables
6. reran the install.
Viola!!!, all fixed and up and running. I personnally believe that there needs to be a "Sticky" for "blank page", this way we can have a common thread in which to troubleshoot.
Hope this helps,
Big Jim
