Title: The file you have uploaded is not a valid image
Post by: Kyleontheweb on January 09, 2004, 05:42:50 AM
Hello everyone,

I successfully integrated Coppermine with my IPB (Invision Power Board).  It recognizes all the forums users as Coppermine users, and we can create albums fine.  I tried to upload pics to my album, and I get "The file you have uploaded is not a valid image !"

"Warning: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 10046 is not allowed to access albums/userpics/10001/soxx4.jpg owned by uid 48 in /home/httpd/vhosts/petshowntell.com/httpdocs/coppermine/db_input.php on line 261

Can anyone help me with this?
Your help is much appreciated.  Thank you.

Thanks very much!  I am glad you were able to point me to a document with some help for my specific problem.  I added the silly safe mode command into the file, and now it works.  Awesome!

No, one should not build an application around an improper server setup.
