Is there any help file that my users can read on how to use the gallery? If there is, I can't find it anywehre.

Enable the FAQ feature in config.

I have a couple more dumb questions if you don't mind answering them... I can't figure out how to upload pictures... I have created categories, created a couple of albums, problem is I don't see the upload button anywhere...

never mind... I found out twhat the problem was... somehow after bridging it with SMF, the user permissions changed.
