Title: Problem saving config settings
Post by: sbarnes on March 23, 2006, 09:15:52 PM
Hi there, just instaled 1.4.4 (first time using this).

When I change the settings under 'config' namely default language and default theme, when I apply the changes by clicking on save new configuration, it says "coppermine configuration was updated" trouble is when I re-enter the config page the settings have returned to what they were previously.

I have tried changing permisions on various files but I have no luck, please help.

Hi there,
Yes I am, not sure wether to pursue this problem for the following reasons, obviously it is better to have everything working as it should.

I was going to change the default language from english to english gb as I thought it may change some of the american spelling etc.

But looking at the two language files, the english is a much bigger file and appears to be more in depth. I think I should stick with this one?

english_gb.php only contains the words that differ from english.php (US-english). When using english_gb, make sure that you have enabled language fallback.
