Title: URL Upload Error, but HTTP/1.0 200 OK
Post by: willlynilly on March 26, 2006, 04:49:44 AM
Has anyone besides harsh encountered an upload error that reports HTTP/1.0 200 OK, and 0 successful uploads?

How should I configure the user for someone else to test it out?  Should I include 1 browse box and 1 URI box, or just 1 browse box and 0 URI boxes?

Ok, so I followed the directions.

Here's the test username and password:

username: test
password: test

Since the directions told me to configure 0 url boxes, you will probably not be able to test the problem.

Still, you will see another problem: that most of the albums are not displayed in the album dropdown box.  Most of the albums are missing.

Let me know if you want me to add a url box.

Thank you for helping me out on this.

The thread you refer to is one where a user didn't do as we suggested. It has been closed because the user wanted it to be closed, it was never resolved because the user either gave up or fixed things on his own without posting the solution. Anyway, not a good thread to refer to.
If file uploads work fine for you and URI uploads don't, then just use file uploads. You (as admin) should use FTP upload plus batch-add anyway. If URI uploads fail, this is usually caused by restrictions on your server. URI uploads are a gimick that should be dropped in future versions of Coppermine anyway.
