Title: Users Uploading Pictures in Public Album
Post by: keller45 on March 31, 2006, 07:49:22 AM
Yeah for some reason my registered users cant upload there pictures in the Public Albums. I went to the Group permissions and Selected it so they could and it still wont let them. It will only let them upload in there own gallerys. How do i change this? Thanks

"can upload to public albums" on the groups page is just a general "yes/no" switch. You can specify which albums they actually are allow to upload to. Go to the album properties next to the thumbnail that represents and album and turn "visitors can upload" on for that particular album to actually allow what you're up to. Please refer to the docs for details.

this is being explained in the docs and in the help pop-up as well. That's why we added the help icon next to the setting. We consider reading the documentation as mandatory. We can't make it read "users", as some people may allow guest uploads as well in the groups panel, so in their case "visitors" doen't mean "users", but "anybody".
