Title: choose app to bridge coppermine with
Post by: farhad on April 01, 2006, 08:43:03 PM
My questions might sound naive since I am a beginner
1-How do I know if any of the selections in the bridge manager are installed? I have upgraded to 1.4.4 and I can see several files in my coppermine folder such as phpbb22.inc.php. Does this mean that the phpbb22 is installed?

If none of the selections in the bridge manager are installed then I need to know the following.

2-How should I choose which one of the choice in the gridge manager to install.
3-How do I install any of these apps

Thnx beforehand

You need to go to their websites and try their software. If you find one you like install it following their instructions and then use the bridge manager. The bridge  manager doesn't install the apps, it just enables the bridge to them.

Thnx for your quick reply, but I am not clear what I need.
I want to installed coppermine so I can post pictures; however these app that I have to purchase provide a lot of functionalities such as the ability to open and manage forums which is not what I had in mind. Is there a scaled down version of these app that allows coppermine to function?
If not which ones are better integrated with coppermine?

No, it's an entirely optional option.
