Title: Upgrade question
Post by: Walkinman on April 05, 2006, 07:00:50 AM
hello,

I had Lunarpages do my upgrade from 1.4.3 to 1.4.4 for me while I was out of town, and I thought they were going to keep the tweaks and changes I'd made so that the cpg pages matched the rest of my site:

www..skolaiimages.com

http://www.skolaiimages.com/stock/index.php

However, they didn't, and now I'm stuck with the basic theme. I've read the Docs, but I don't see if there's a way to somehow automate reinstalling the changes. I still have all those files on my desktop. Do I have to redo the changes manually?

Thank you.

Cheers

Carl

There's no automatic way to upgrade the theme. You need to do it manually by following the instructions: http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/theme/index.html

If the update was 1.4.3 to 1.4.4 then you can use the same theme you had before.

Hey Nibbler,

Thank you. Just to be clear, does that mean I can just upload the theme.ph file I have on my desktop, which is the file from before the upgrade, and it'll be fine? Can I also upload the style.css and template.html files as well?

Thanks again.

Cheers

Upload the entire folder your custom theme is in.

Hey Nibbler,

Works fine ..a few things seemed to get funky, but I'll try and tweak those, and if I can't, I'll post again later in another thread. Thank you. Feel free to mark this thread solved.

Cheers
