Title: Integration with Tikiwiki?
Post by: cgc0202 on April 10, 2006, 11:12:28 PM
Hi,

I am new here and has only tried Coppermine recently, still learning and exploring its features.  I decided to use Tikiwiki as my main CMS, primarily because of the collaborative features (not as CMS) much better than the wiki used in "wikimedia".  As CMS it has its own gallery, but not as advance as Coppermine. So, I wonder if anyone has ever tried to integrate Coppermine with Tikiwiki.

There are issues, like Tikiwiki is already quite a bloated software, and so it is a bit slow.  I read from another thread here that speed is also a big issue already with Coppermine, especially if there are many users.  Anyway, one of the attractions for me of integrating the two is the shared login, and the permissions systems for Tikiwiki is quite advance, even much better than phpBB2.  There are more like share (and specific Search options) but I need not go into those.  I was just wondering if anyone has tried it.

Thanks.

CGC
