Title: Can't get the user login to work

Hi:  I guess I'm ready to ask a question and get possibly blasted for not finding the answers in the manual or previous posts.   I feel like I accomplished something by getting Cooppermine 1.4 installed without resorting to forum help even though Fantastico was discontinued by my server due to a security problem with CPG 1.3.. 

I also managed to make a custum theme that worked by getting  information out of old posts.

But now I need help on solving the problem of users not being able to log on.  I can log on fine as an admiinstrator not as a user.  I have tried all kinds of settings to no avail.  My Apache server company is Lunar Pages.  My site is:

Its giving Invalid login error. Try forgot password feature and see what happens.

Hi Abbas Ali:

If I try to upload as a user without logging in I get the message, "Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files".

I would like to set up CPG where specific users can update there files.

Users should first create Album !!! after that try to upload ....

provide a test user account that actually works, as suggested above. What you actually did was allowing guests to upload to public albums, but you haven't specified an album they could upload to.

This is what I already submitted as an earlier part of this thread.  This user test account or any other user test accounts I have created - generates a login error.  Do I understand what you want?

Use a tool like phpMyAdmin to browse coppermine's user table, make sure (check only) that the user actually exists. Did you try the "forgot password" link as suggested?

Thanks everybody - after chopping around slashing and deleting - and trying new user names I got one to work.  I have no idea what it was that make it work.
