Title: is coppermine completely customizable?
Post by: tarr on January 15, 2004, 07:32:41 PM
Hello everyone,
I would like to know (i've searched through faq's, but could not find it) if this wondeful piece of software is graphicallu custamizable to look just like an already built site.
If so, is there any document/tutorial about this issue?
Thanks a lot,
Tarr from Italy.

yes, it is customizable (within limits), take a look at the demo (http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/demo/) and play a little with the dropdown filed that says "Default". It'll let you see some themes (9 of them come with coppermine, the rest can be downloaded (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=89658&package_id=98541&release_id=192575)).
This is what the documentation has to say about theming: http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/demo/docs/index.htm#creating

This is a bit weak for beginners, I know. Currently I'm working on a tutorial and a style guide, but there's nothing I can show to the public yet.
