I'm new on coppermine and need help to use it. Does anyone can explain how can I select a picture and put ir as favorite?
I try but I can't see any option to do that.
Thanks
Marcio
When you are looking at a pic, under it at the bottom will be the link 'ADD to favorites'.
Then when you click on the 'My favorites' link, you will get the pics you have selected. This is cookie set, so if you delete your coolies, you will lose the list.
the "add to favorites" is in the pic info section at the bottom of the screen, it can be toggled on/off with the "info" button in the navigation bar. The initial visibility of the "pic info"-section can be set in coppermine config.

Two questions ....
1. I'm also new to Coppermine and am still feeling my way. I cannot for the life of me work out how to use the 'My Favorites' option. I looked below the photo as suggested previously but that information does not appear below my picture. How do I switch this feature on?
2. Also, I want to know how to change the spelling of Favorites. This is the American spelling and I use International English, as such I would like to spell it - Favourites. How can I fix this?
Cheers ;D
Re 1: what version of coppermine are you actually running?
Re 2: edit your language file, i.e. /lang/english.php and do a search/replace on "favorite" (replace it with "favourite") with any text editor.

P.S. Next time, please do only post one question per thread.
Sorry :-[
Stand alone 1.2.1
The "add to favorites" link is in the pic info section beneath every pics. If you haven't set "File information is visible by default" to "yes" in coppermine config, the pic info section is initially hidden when viewing a pic. Click on the (https://coppermine-gallery.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fcoppermine.sourceforge.net%2Fdemo%2Fimages%2Finfo.gif&hash=31642e671ada19faeea5938e26e97f4c9cd62892)-button to toggle the pic info on/off individually (for you).

1. To see it all the time, go into config, and turn 'Picture information are visible by default' to YES. If you don't want it on all the time, leave it at no, and just click on the little 'i' icon (between the folder and slideshow icons, in the image navigation bar to see it.
2. The english language file in 1.2.1 has 2 cases of 'favourites' spelt our (British) way, and one case of it spelt the American way. The only one you need to change needs the f to be upper case, so replace 'Favorite' with 'Favourite'.
