Title: Unbridge logging in
Post by: leprakhauns on May 14, 2006, 07:17:40 PM
I downloaded the latest bridge files, and I went to the bridge manager, but it automatically unbridged itself and now I can't login to the Coppermine Photo Gallery at all, neither as an administrator or a user.  It will act as if it's letting me login, tells me welcome, but then the login link at the top never changes and tells me I'm not authorized to see the page.  I just want to bridge it again, with the new bridge files.

Coppermine install: http://lepslair.com/photos/
Forum install: http://lepslair.com/forum/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.2
Forum version: PHPBB 2.0.20
Test user account: lep / klb2003

BridgeManager settings:
I'm sure these are right, because it was working before I upgraded to PHPBB 2.0.20, and I'd tell you what they were, but I can't get into my Photo Gallery.

I uploaded the udb_base.inc.php and the phpbb20.inc.php files for the bridge now I'm getting this error:

[cvs] / coppermine / stable / bridge / udb_base.inc.php
cvs: coppermine/stable/bridge/udb_base.inc.php

Is there anyway I can make it get bridged again using the database to set some values?

upgrade your entire gallery to cpg1.4.5 as suggested in the docs.

Is there an easy way to do this?

yes, it is described in the docs (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#14), that's why I refered to them ::).

I updated to the latest version but I still can't login as an administrator (the test user one works though).

are you 100% sure that you have the proper admin account data? Mind capitalization. Tried "forgot password" link?

Yes here's how I know I do the admin is group 1 right?  Well if I change that group to anything besides group 1 it will let me login, or the test account to group 1 it won't let me login under that name.  It seems that whatever the reason, group 1 won't login.
