Title: Logging in problem...
Post by: Sean Morgan on May 27, 2006, 08:08:25 PM
I am having problems logging back into my coppermine gallery.

First off, I installed Coppermine onto my website using Fantastico.  Worked fine, uploaded all my photos and loved it!  I wanted to do some testing and see what it looks like when im not logged in, etc.  So I logged out, and am not able to log back in.  Well, I login and it says "Welcome bugleboy" then it redirects me back to not being logged in.

I've had this problem before couple weeks back with a different coppermine gallery i made, and it did the same thing; So I deleted it and installed this one with better hopes.

Don't use Fantastico in the future, it sucks. You're running cpg1.4.2 (which comes with Fantastico). Upgrade to the most recent stable version (currently cpg1.4.6)

Change the cookie name in coppermine's config then - this will be the equivalent to all cookies for all users getting deleted. Make sure to come up with a valid cookie name (only alphanumerals)
